HOW NATURAL ARE YOUR PRODUCTS?

We use only the best natural and organic ingredients. We don’t use anything in our products that we wouldn’t use on ourselves – and trust us, we have high standards! We list all of our ingredients on our labels and online so that you know exactly what you’re putting in your hair and on your body.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Yes, all of our products are vegan. 

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY FREE?

Absolutely! We love our cute, furry friends. We are strictly against animal testing and ensure that we only purchase raw materials from cruelty free suppliers.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN NUTS?

Yes, many of our products our made with various nut oils. Please read the ingredients list carefully. Although the types of nut oils we use don’t typically irritate the skin, we always recommend that you consult with your doctor if you have a nut allergy before using our products.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN PRESERVATIVES?

Only natural ones! Our liquid products contain a natural preservative called Leucidal Liquid (Radish Root Ferment). We also use Grapefruit Seed Extract in some of our products. These natural preservatives help to to extend the natural shelf life of the ingredients and keep our products in their freshest and most potent form.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

Each product is labelled with its shelf life. Most of our products will remain fresh for 12-24 months if store properly. Keep your products out of direct sunlight and at room temperature or below.

MY SALT SPRAY LOOKS CLOUDY AND HAS A WHITE FILM AT THE BOTTOM, WHY IS THAT? 

Our salt spray is made with aloe vera water, which gives the product its cloudiness, and coconut pulp, which creates the white film that settles to the bottom. Always shake the bottle before using to disperse the oils and coconut pulp. 

WILL YOUR SALT SPRAY MAKE MY HAIR DRY?

No, the salt will give hair a piecey and textured look while the mixture of aloe vera water, coconut oil and coconut pulp ensure your hair stays hydrated and glossy. 

SOMETIMES MY HAIR LOOKS OILY OIL AFTER USING THE OIL MASK?

If this happens, you may have used more oil than you needed for your hair type. Hair length, thickness, coarseness, dyeing and overall health of hair determine how much oil your hair needs. You may need to try out different amounts of oil to figure out what works best for your hair. Start with a little and add as needed. And always remember to shampoo twice and condition once after using it.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR RAW MATERIALS FROM?

All of our raw materials are sourced within Canada and the United States. We try to stay as local as possible and ensure our values align with our suppliers – aka natural, organic and zero animal testing.

DO YOU REALLY MAKE ALL YOUR PRODUCTS BY HAND?

Every last one of them. It's a lot of work but we want to make sure that every last bottle sold is perfect. Call us control freaks but it’s for your benefit, we promise!

WHERE DO YOU MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS?

Our products are made at small studio in Vancouver, BC.

IF I ORDER ONLINE, CAN I PICK THEM UP SOMEWHERE SO I DON't HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING?

We're working on this! Stayed tuned. There's a Coast studio in our future. 

 

ORDER PROCESSING

 

WHY DOES IT TAKE UP TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS MY ORDER?

Every one of our products is made by hand. It’s blended, bottled, labelled and packaged all by hand. It takes longer to get your products ready than ones that have been mass produced and already sitting on the shelves waiting to ship out. Don't worry, the wait is worth it!

WHY NOT JUST BLEND THEM IN LARGER BATCHES SO YOU CAN SEND THEM OUT QUICKER?

We ensure our items are blended in small batches so that they are as fresh for you as possible. We only use natural preservatives which do not last as long as regular preservatives so we want you to get them when they are at the peak of freshness. We ship as close to production as possible.

If you're in a hurry and need an item by a certain date (last minute birthday gift), please let us know and we will work to accommodate your request as best we can.

 

SHIPPING

 

I WANT TO ORDER ONLINE BUT YOUR SHIPPING COSTS ARE HIGH!

Shipping ain't cheap and glass is heavy. Our packaging is beautiful but it does make them more expensive to ship. We also take extra precautions to ensure your products are packaged safely so that no breakage or leakage occurs during shipping. The weight and extra precautions means that our rates may be more expensive.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?

Order processing takes 2-5 business days. 

Domestic shipping (within Canada) takes approximately 3-5 business days. Please allow up to 3 weeks for shipping on international orders. Shipping usually takes less time than this but customs departments do have the right to hold your items and we do not have control over this. We will not pay to have any items released from customs to you and any fees incurred by customs (duties, taxes, etc.) is the responsibility of the customer.
