In an attempt to ditch the cold (and let's be honest, work), we headed south to Palm Springs for a week. Best decision we could have made. It was 30 degrees and sunny. Every. Single. Day. Jealous yet?
Most mornings were spent recharging by the pool or indulging in brunch, afternoons spent exploring and evenings spent admiring the sunsets and washing it all down with a glass of white wine. We made sure to capture the highlights so that we could share them with you below.
We watched the grey skies change to blue from the plane and knew we were in for a good week.
Everything about this place has us obsessed. We could have sat on that patio for hours, the decor was beautiful and the food was amazing. If you haven't been to Norma's at the Parker Palm Springs, go now.
After brunching out at Norma's we needed to walk off our food. We headed to El Paseo in Palm Desert for retail therapy and fell in love with this little boutique, Elizabeth and Prince.
Of course, a trip to Palm Springs wouldn't be complete without a trip to the famous pink door.
When it's 30 degrees out and the ice cream parlor looks like this, it's perfectly acceptable to eat ice cream at any time of the day. This cute little place is called Ice Cream & Shoppe.
We chased the sunset to the windmills. The photos don't do the landscape justice. The colors were incredible and it was the perfect spot for photos.
We've been back less than 48 hours and we're already ready to go back.
